Ararat College remembers the ANZAC’s at a special assembly

Ararat College students and staff paid their respects ahead of ANZAC Day tomorrow, at a special school assembly held this morning.

Ararat College School Captains Lauren Bowles and Toneya Hurst address the school community.

The assembly included poems delivered by School Captains Lauren Bowles and Toneya Hurst, a rendition of The Last Post by Brass Teacher Peter Baxter and a moment of pride as the Australian and New Zealand national anthems were played.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”

Both School Captains will represent the school at tomorrows 10am service held at the Ararat Cenotaph.
