Australians head to the polls this Saturday for the 2019 Federal Election, after a campaign full of strip club, egg throwing and racist drama.
Five candidates are running for our local seat of Wannon in the House of Representatives which has been held by Liberal Dan Tehan since 2010, his party since 1955.

Wannon covers 33,419 square kilometres and includes towns such as Hamilton, Stawell, Portland, Port Fairy, Warrnambool, Port Campbel, Camperdown, Colac and Ararat – spread out over the large area.
In a recent change to the electorate area, Wannon lost Maryborough, Dunolly and Avoca to Mallee, gaining Stawell and Halls Gap from Mallee in return
Our team has been in contact with our local candidates to see what they are promising, their priorities and the reasoning behind their campaign.
