Pimpinio truck passenger Teigan Hill denied bail over drug charges

Murray Bridge’s Teigan Hill appeared at Ararat’s Magistrates Court today and was denied bail over drug charges.

Hill was a passenger of the truck involved in the deadly collision yesterday morning near Pimpinio, charged with drug trafficking, possession and use.

The B-double truck was travelling on the Western Highway when its trailers dislodged, blocking the highway.

A bus then crashed into the trailer. The bus driver Emil Pich, 60, died at the scene.

The 36-year-old male truck driver was released from custody pending further enquiries.

Hill has been remanded, to appear in the Horsham Magistrates Court on July 29.
