My most recent read is Red Queen, by Victoria Aveyard. I loved the first book, I’d been told about how good they were. So many had praised the book, so I thought about reading it. I remember seeing the book in my school library, I had a book to read, which was good but this was so much better.
My favourite character was Mare, she had a fascinating personality and her love for the characters that felt so real. Her world is divided by two races, Reds and Silvers. As a Red, she shows what she can do, by stealing to keep her family alive, pickpocketing her kind for food and gifts.

Someone unknown to Mare shows up changing her life. From slums, and dirty work to high life of the rich and powerful Silvers. The Reds live in such a bad world, I felt bad for them, whilst the Silvers drank from silver, wore rich silk gowns.
You could feel her pain when things turned out bad. Victoria filled my urge to read, I can’t wait to finish the series. I was so attached to the book, it took me a few days before I found the second book Glass Sword. Sadly another beat me to it, so I have to wait, Thoe, I recommended this book to all fantasy-loving teens.
I rate this 4 ½ out of 5
